Happy Easter!

This Easter, I have been filled with gratitude again for the life, Atonement, and resurrection of the Savior. I don't know how to express all that I feel. Recently, I have felt that I have never really grasped how to utilize the power of the Atonement in bringing joy into my life, despite the ups and downs and heartaches of life. I'm just so grateful to understand this - and so grateful to the Savior for the miracle of the Atonement.

Gabe's Sunbeam class combined with mine Sunday so I got to teach him how to pray. Monday, for Family Home Evening, he taught what he learned to his brothers. He told them that when you pray, you fold your arms, close your eyes, and "bend over." Then, he demonstrated by doing a bow that resembled the ones from The King and I....cute.

I've been teaching the kids to follow last month's Friend article on studying the scriptures, so we start our scripture study with a prayer to help us "understand" the scriptures - which is a hard word for little boys. Today, Jonathan said, "Please help us 'stand' the scriptures!"
