What do I get my husband for Valentine's Day? I can't beat last year's gift - I splurged and got him a gun he's been wanting. But I just want to give him something nice that is meaningful, but not expensive. Are their any wifes out there that have done something sweet I can copy....???
To complicate it just a little, we'll be out of town on vacation with all the kids...

I can't help you. We always get each other Chocolates, and go on a date...Dinner with my husband is the best gift EVER for me!! But this year he has to work on Valentines day night! GRRRR! So we are going to have to think of something else.
I have never done this, but I know some people that have. Make him a coupon book with all sorts of things in it that he can turn in to you! Some ideas are things like a night out without kids, let him pick out what he wants for dinner, breakfast in bed, a back or foot massage, movie night..let him pick the movie, your more creative then me I am sure you can make up some good ones. It is cheap and you can make them meaningful. Or I guess you could always get him some amo. for his gun!!!! Good LucK!!!
I just had another thought my bro-in law has a riffle range where you shoot guns. I guess if you are into shooting it is an awesome thing to do! My hubby loves it. It is $50.00. It take about 2 1/2 hours. If you are ever interested let me know!
You could always write him a long mushy letter. I know Garret loves that kind of stuff. You know I am a pro on cheap...I have lots more ideas....99 cents or less...let me know if you are interested and I will send you a list...good luck...You are such a great wife.
